I was born and raised in Northwest Ohio. My family built our first home when I was seven years old. It was so fascinating and exciting to be a part of building a house. I wasn’t much help, but I could drive nails and I can tell you, the floorboards in that house had so many nails in them, they never did squeak! We sold that house and built another one when I was a teenager, and this time I was old enough to help. I worked hard that summer, side by side with my family, we built the home that my family still has today. Little did I know it would change my life and not just where I lived. When I purchased my home, I purchased one that needed renovated and once again my family came to help. What a feeling of accomplishment to completely change my house and give it new life. It was quite an education, discovering how differently homes are built, what makes them safe and what creates value. Every time I walk through a house I draw on these experiences and they have proven to be invaluable. My previous career in sales took me into the cities and towns throughout Ohio where I was fortunate to meet many wonderful and interesting people. I became actively involved in multiple Chambers of Commerce through the years and have sat on planning committees and participated in coordinating community events. This has provided me with priceless insight into the communities in the area. Today, I draw on all these experiences to help my clients prioritize their needs and goals so they can sell their current home, or find their next home, in a community where they will thrive.
